IDF POSITIONS OPEN
Interested persons please post in the forum entitled "Proposal to Establish an International De Leonist Federation," here at DeLeonism.org.
IDF General Administrator ("GA") FILLED
An elected position. Interim GA to serve until membership election of elected GA.
Position, and position title, is that of "administrator," as that is what it is. It protests the inflated power perceived in past "general secretaries" and the like. Position holder will answer mail, facilitate contact between nodes (i.e. groups and individuals), keep records, etc., Thus does the GA have a sort of de facto power, but such power should be kept in strict perspective: GA is not a position with significant decisionmaking authority, as such, especially as regards the substantive affairs of the federation. GA is not a position such as president, vice-president, chair, committee head, or senator; nor is it an "acting" or stand-in position for any of these. It is more akin to a secretarial position than a position of governance.
To whom is the GA secretary? To the member entities, both groups and individuals.
IDF Web Developer ("WO")
To handle technical and other aspects of web development, domain registration and maintenance, and all other IDF web operations. Cooperates with content creators to populate IDF web site.
First task: register IDF domain name and go live immediately with rudimentary IDF web site. Suggested URL: DeLeonist.org or DelFed.org.
IDF Media Artist(s) ("MA")
To include photographers, videographers, artist/Illustrators, cartoonists, and anyone else skilled in using media to promulgate the IDF, and/or creatively convey its political message.
IDF Writers ("WR")
To submit textual content for IDF web site and print publications. Submissions accepted from anyone; however, submitters strongly encouraged to produce well-written, well-researched material. This does not preclude content that is personalized, unique, or otherwise creatively written.
